Descript Discount Codes & Verified Offers for October 2026

Screen Recorder is a lifesaver!

Anyone else use Descript's Screen Recorder? It's been so good for my workflow. I was a bit worried about transcription limits, but it actually gives you 10 hours a month on the Creator plan, which is plenty for me. Totally worth it.

Good for basic editing, but pricey

I tried Descript after seeing some comparisons to CapCut for video editing. The Studio Sound feature is really impressive, making my audio sound much more professional. However, getting a discount is tough; promo codes are almost nonexistent unless you find an influencer. The free plan is good for testing things out, but it's pretty limited with only 1 hour of transcription per month. It feels a bit expensive compared to some alternatives, even with the annual commitment.

Worked great for my screen recordings

So, I needed to record some tutorials for work, and I used Descript's 'Screen Recorder'. It was super easy to set up and get going, which was a relief. The recording quality was clear, and it was nice to be able to edit the recording right there in the same program. Didn't have any glitches or anything, just worked as expected. Pretty straightforward experience, no complaints.

Easy to use, great for podcasts

I started using Descript for my podcast, mostly for the Podcast Editor and Transcription Service. It made editing so much faster than my old software. The transcription was really accurate, even with a few different voices. I found the 'Remote Recording' feature pretty useful for interviews too. The only small thing is sometimes exporting takes a little longer than I'd expect for shorter clips, but it's not a huge deal. Definitely happy with it for the price, especially with the annual discount I got.

Good for video, but some minor issues

I used Descript mainly for editing a few YouTube videos last month. The AI Video Editor was quite good, letting me cut out sections just by deleting text from the transcript, which is a game changer for me. The 'Studio Sound' feature also cleaned up my audio nicely. I did notice the 'Filler Word Removal' missed a few 'ums' here and there, so it's not perfect and still needs a manual pass. Collaborative Editing worked well with my co-editor, we could both jump in without many problems. Overall, it's a solid tool, but I wish the filler word detection was a bit more robust right out of the box.

Love this for my content!

Oh my gosh, Descript is fantastic! I've been using it for a few weeks to make social media clips and the 'Social Clips' feature is just so easy to use! The 'Captions and Subtitles' generator saved me so much time, they look professional. I also tried the 'Eye Contact AI' and it really helped improve my videos without me having to re-record everything. I'm definitely going to keep using this for all my content creation, it's made my workflow so much smoother! Already told my friends about it!

Quick transcription service

I needed a quick transcription for an audio file. Descript's 'Transcription Service' was fast and quite accurate. Got exactly what I needed without any fuss.
